45% linen / 55% Tencel, 165 gsm, 136 cm wide, plain weave, pre-shrunk and rolled at 100 m. The same blend is also woven at 170 gsm on a wider 144 cm base if your marker needs the extra width.
This is a drape fabric. Buyers use it for fluid dresses, wide-leg trousers, skirts, soft shirts, jumpsuits and resort wear, and it also appears in bedding and curtain panels where a soft fall matters more than body. At 165 gsm it moves rather than holds.
Tencel brings a smooth, cool, almost liquid hand and a soft luster that plain linen does not have, while the linen keeps the dry texture and the slubs visible in the surface. The cloth creases less than pure linen and recovers better. It is pre-shrunk, so the softness you feel in the sample is the softness you get after washing.
If you want more linen presence and less drape, our 185 gsm pure linen plain weave is the crisper read. For a lighter, more Tencel-forward cloth at 30/70, see the 150 gsm version; for a diagonal surface in this blend, the 205 gsm twill.
