150 gsm 30% linen / 70% Tencel™ plain weave at 144cm. Suited to lightweight — shirting, blouses and summer dresses. The plain weave gives a clean, flat surface that dyes and prints evenly. Blended so that Tencel™ adds a silky hand and low pilling.

30% linen / 70% Tencel, 150 gsm, 144 cm wide, 20 x 20 plain weave, pre-shrunk and supplied on 100 m rolls. The wide 144 cm base and the low linen share make this the airiest cloth in our Tencel range.
Buyers use it for shirting, blouses, summer dresses, lining-weight garments, scarves, and for bedding where a very soft, cool surface is wanted. The 144 cm width is also why some cutters prefer it: at this weight the extra 8 cm often removes a panel from the marker.
With 70% Tencel the hand is smooth and cool with a slight luster, and the linen shows mainly as a dry touch and light slubs rather than as crispness. It drapes closely, creases less than a linen-heavy cloth, and hangs soft in curtains. Because the linen share is low, this is not a cloth for buyers who want obvious linen character – it is for buyers who want linen in the story and softness in the hand.
If you need more linen presence, the 45/55 linen-Tencel at 165 gsm is the balanced option. For an all-linen cloth at a similar weight and a washed hand, go to the 130 gsm air-washed linen.
