135 gsm 30% linen / 70% viscose plain weave at 136cm. Suited to lightweight — shirting, blouses and summer dresses. The plain weave gives a clean, flat surface that dyes and prints evenly. Blended so that viscose adds drape and a smooth, fluid hand.

30% linen / 70% viscose, 135 gsm, 136 cm wide, 20 x 20 plain weave, pre-shrunk and rolled at 100 m. Built as a print ground: the 20 x 20 weave closes the surface enough for detailed artwork, and the viscose majority takes ink evenly.
Print studios use it for dresses, blouses, skirts, scarves, kimono jackets and light home textiles such as cushion fronts and tea towels. At 135 gsm it is light and fluid, so prints read soft rather than stiff, which suits botanical and hand-drawn styles in particular.
Viscose is the reason colour comes out rich and coverage is high at low ink weight. Linen keeps the cloth from looking flat, and after printing you can still see slubs in the ground. It drapes closely, creases lightly, and is pre-shrunk so the print register holds through the first wash.
If you need an all-linen print base, the 106 gsm printed linen is lighter and more textured – harder to print but unmistakably linen. For a solid ground in this blend, the 160 gsm plain weave is the one-step-heavier option.
