130 gsm 15% linen / 85% viscose plain weave at 136cm. Suited to lightweight — shirting, blouses and summer dresses. The plain weave gives a clean, flat surface that dyes and prints evenly. Blended so that viscose adds drape and a smooth, fluid hand.

15% linen / 85% viscose, 130 gsm, 136 cm wide, 30 x 30 plain weave, pre-shrunk and rolled at 100 m. The lightest cloth in our viscose range and the one with the least linen in it.
Buyers use it for blouses, dresses, skirts, linings, scarves and lightweight resort wear, and for soft home textiles such as sheer curtain panels. At 130 gsm on a fine 30 x 30 weave it is fluid and light against the skin.
This is a deliberate compromise: enough linen to carry the fibre on the label and to keep a dry touch, but 85% viscose so the cloth falls softly, dyes deep and costs less than a linen-heavy blend. Slubs are fine rather than prominent. It creases only lightly and recovers quickly, which suits travel and retail-ready garments. In structured pieces it wants a lining or a heavier interlining; for blouses and shirts it can be used on its own.
If you need visible linen character, this is not the cloth – take the 55/45 linen-viscose at 160 gsm instead. For a print base at almost the same weight, the 135 gsm printed linen-viscose runs on a 20 x 20 weave and holds register well.
