Linen-Polyester Dyed – 251 gsm, 136cm – Plain Weave

35% linen / 65% polyester, 251 gsm, 136 cm wide, 11 x 11 plain weave, pre-shrunk and rolled at 100 m. A heavy, stable cloth that keeps a linen surface while behaving like a workhorse blend.

Buyers use it for contract and hospitality textiles first: cushions, seat covers, curtains, table linen, bag bodies, aprons – anywhere the cloth has to survive repeated laundering and still look like linen. It also goes into outerwear and simple upholstery where budget matters more than pure-fibre story.

The 11 x 11 weave is open enough to keep the linen slubs and dry texture on the face, while the polyester majority gives dimensional stability and very low creasing. It does not drape like a viscose or Tencel blend; it holds its shape. If your customer wants low maintenance rather than softness, this is the practical pick.

For an all-natural heavy cloth at a similar weight, our 330 gsm hemp-cotton is the natural-fibre option. If you want a linen-cotton twill at a lighter weight for garments rather than contract textiles, the 175 gsm linen-cotton twill is closer. For a small stretch component at the same weight, our 230 gsm linen-spandex stretch twill is the alternative.
